WEEK 5: A BALANCED DIET


Hello! Dear fourth graders students this fifth week you are going to learn about food, healthy or unhealthy food, make a shopping list, write about superfoods from Peru, and write an e-mail about your favorite food.


Remember you must finish all your activities according to your level after that answer to the challenging questions.

    What did you learn from doing the activities in week 5?
    I learned to differentiate between healthy and unhealthy food, I learned names of some foods, which is my favorite food and the shopping list.

    What difficulties did you have to write your shopping list or description of your favorite food?
    When organizing my ideas, remember some things like what we buy and remember what things I buy to make my aji de gallina.

    In week 5 I was able to learn to differentiate the types of food, from those that are good for my organisms to those that harm it and to be able to find a powerful food in vitamins and nutrients



    -What difficulties did you have in writing your shopping list or the description of your food?

    None since I was guided by the bilingual dictionary and I could find all the words I needed

      Te felicito por aprender a diferenciar las comidas saludables de las no saludables. Valorar la importancia de los alimentos saludables en nuestra salud que es tan necesario en el contexto actual.
      Te puedo recomendar que uses los diccionarios bilingues que están en el planificador, cambien puedes usar las palabras nuevas del glosario de la semana. Que te parece la idea que realices un álbum alfabéticos de alimentos saludables y no saludables en Ingles usando imágenes o tus propios dibujos.

    I can tell the difference between healthy and unhealthy foods. I can also explain what superfoods are in English and I can write a blog post about a Peruvian superfood in English.

    A2: What difficulties did you have to write your blog entry about superfoods from Peru?

    The difficulty I had was mentioning the different types of diseases that quinoa prevents and I overcame it by looking in the English dictionary at how they are written.
